BSOD - Ranomly Crashes


Yet not everyone does something about it. Other than hardware problems I've never had my Linux systems crash, and I've been using Linux since before Ubuntu was thought of. I'm relieved that it wasn't a hardware issue after all, but I'm annoyed that I went to all this trouble only to find out that it's the controller! If the system is overheating it could just need a dusting out with some canned air.

In the Menu bar, click File -> Publish Snapshot. I like to experiment with software, so Linux is on a dual-boot with WIn7. I put a sticky note on my brother's PC this morning to let him know to not run anything, either, until I can get to the bottom of this. Nvidia I'd take notes of the BSOD when possible and search but yielded no usable results.
