For DVDs, it won't evenstart to try setting up to copy. It could be a burner or just a reader and it is just not working. Thanks! YOU ROCK dj5!!! Source

I checked my device manager and it has a yellow triangle and says power failure. For some reason nowwhen I try to burn music, my programs show that it is burning andfinishing off, then when I check the disk there is only 1KB on eachsong, and I have not changed anything. Switched a DVD back and forth between the two drives, quickly. wow what a simple fix. Verifying the CD-ROM cables are correctly connected.

Go into device manager and uninstall the optical drive. Turn the computer off.
