I'm guessing uninstalling the network controller and rebooting will bring up the new hardware found wizard upon reboot? didnt work for me. I'm sure it has something to do with HTML5 and CSS3... Apparently the virus must have check the proxy box and perhaps put its web address in and that was why I could only go to their web page. The "netsh winsock reset" command fixed the problem after I rebooted. So I thought I would post it here and hopefully help out thousands of other people like me. How could it now not be compatible? Thanks.
